ThoughtWorks was involved in an inter-corporate charity cricket tournament on 11th & 12th of July 2009. The tournament saw the ThoughtWorks cricket team fight it out on the cricket field with 7 other corporates for the trophy.

After comprehensive victories against Cerner in the quarter-finals and Empower in the semi-finals, we lost to CGI in a nail biting final encounter.

Some of the highlights of the tournament were:
1) The camaraderie and team work within the TW team comprising of members from Professional Services, Studios, Marketing and Recruiting.
2) The cricketing skills on display were of the highest quality.
3) Our bright blue 'Proud to be a ThoughtWorker' T-shirts, bedazzled the opponents (which we think was one of the reasons for our success).
4) A game of cricket with the Kids from LovedaleFoundation who turned up to cheer the finalists.
