An IS Operation Lead in Thoughtworks is a Global role where you work in a very dynamic environment with challenging projects

You will be responsible for making IS operations run smoothly across TW offices that are geographically apart.Your job would entail ensuring that the IT infrastructure is in working condition. You would also be responsible for distributing the work load across TW offices.

Position and Responsibilities

• Operating staff throughout the ThoughtWorks offices globally.
• Plan, monitor, install key infrastructure elements across the globe.
• Networking (internal, internet, private for customers) i.e. includes setting up of new offices, customers etc.
• Assets (servers, network switches, routers etc.)
• System Software and tools/applications used on a global basis
• Heading Tech support (hardware, software, laptops etc.)
• Vendor management.

Skills and Experience

• Future thinking i.e. innovation / investing time and money.
• Should be technically savvy.
• Should be very responsive, proactive and responsible with a service oriented mindset.
• Strong Problem solving skills especially under pressure.
• Having application development experience would be an added advantage.
