Position Responsibilities

• Get involved with hands on coding and proactively mentor developers (including pair programming).
• Be a part of diverse, high energy teams focused on full lifecycle development.
• Work closely with clients on the Business Domain and Technical Areas.
• Travel to work at client sites and other ThoughtWorks offices. This may include international travel if required.

Skills and Experience

• Delivery experience on a commercial Ruby/Rails development project, ideally with object oriented analysis/design.
• Participation in full lifecycle development, preferably on large projects with more than 15 people at least for 6 months.
• Knowledge of Agile Methodologies such as Extreme Programming (XP) & Scrum and understanding of code manipulation and optimization issues.
• Familiarity with relational databases, preferably Oracle or SQL Server.
