It isn’t just about work at ThoughtWorks. Thoughtworks encourages it's diverse variety of employees to take up and indulge in hobbies during their time out of the office. Sameer Deans writes a humorous monthly newsletter "GrapeJus" (pronounced GrapeJuice), which is a good example of what ThoughtWorkers do outside the purview of their roles at ThoughtWorks.

• Ram is a leading member of the Belenix development team, and chaperones and participates in meets by the Java, OpenSolaris, and Linux user groups in Bangalore. He is a regular speaker and presenter on technological topics.
• Rajiv Mathew works as a consulting correspondent at Mid Day, Mentor and Business Gyan.
• Chirdeep Shetty is a budding professional photographer. He is a wildlife-freak, and takes off from work to spend his time in wildlife sanctuaries.
• Table tennis is the choice of sport for many ThoughtWorkers including Chaitrali Singh and Kaushik Ghosh. They recently won prizes at an inter-corporate tournament held at the Deccan Gymkhana at Pune.
• The ThoughtWorks Cricket team has taken part in numerous cricket inter corporate cricket tournaments.
