What is the qualification I need to have in order to apply to ThoughtWorks?

For technical roles we prefer candidates with relevant technical backgrounds (BE, BTech, BSc, BCA) or technical PG degrees (MTech, MCA or ME). However, this is not a constraint. What matters at the end of the day is Aptitude, Attitude & Integrity.

Can I apply for more than one job at the same time?

Yes. There are some roles, which have an overlap of responsibilities. During the interview we will evaluate you and accordingly see which role is most suitable for you. ThoughtWorkers are known to be poly-skilled people and we encourage people who are multi skilled.

Once I submit my profile, how am I kept informed on my application status?

The recruitment team will constantly keep in touch with you. You will receive emails regarding the progress of your application.

Will I have access to other location job opportunities within ThoughtWorks?

This depends on business needs and availability of roles. You need to spend considerable amount of time in the role that you have been hired for before you move to other locations.

Why do I have to take the logic test? Since I have many years of work experience, can I skip 1 or 2 rounds of the interview process?

It’s mandatory for everyone to go through all rounds. Logic assessments are mandatory for all roles and coding problems are mandatory for developers! Each step in our recruitment process ensures we get in the right kind of people.

If I have attended an interview at ThoughtWorks, can I attend again?

Yes you can, after a period of six months.

What about growth in my role?

We have well defined career paths as part of our “Career Development Framework”. A mentor or a sponsor will keep track of your progress and guide your growth at ThoughtWorks. We also believe in encouraging employees to take on different roles, as we see growth as a horizontal progression and not always a vertical one!

If I want to pursue some sort of post graduation (MBA, PGDBA etc) or certification (SCJP, PMP etc) alongside my work, does TW provide any financial assistance?

There is no such program in place as of now.

Is there a pick and drop facility given by ThoughtWorks?

Yes, we have a car-pooling initiative in place.
