Thoughtworks Pune office took off to Splendour Country, a resort 12 kms from Pune for the Mini Away day on 21st April 2009. After reaching there and having breakfast, the group went on to play team building games. The organizers had arranged for fantastic team building games like CobWeb, Chandni Chowk to China, Traffic Jam and ChainTheTyre. People participated with a lot of gusto and that showed in games. In the game Cobweb, a web was tied to two poles, and participants had to pick up their fellow team mates and pass them through the web.

Teams came up with interesting strategies for the game Traffic Jam, where developers did end up being analysts and managers ended up being the ones being managed.

The spirit of the games was clear from the way freshers as well as managers were running around the place and managers were being guided by freshers. People played cricket as well with local cricket rules.

After a re-energizing lunch, a few ThoughtWorkers decided to relax in the swimming pool whereas the others had a gala time playing a superb Bollywood Quiz. Lots of people were seen playing Table Tennis, while a few others were trying their singing talents on the Jukebox.

After a tiring yet relaxing day, ThoughtWorkers were all set to be back in the office!
