ThoughtWorks Bangalore invited Richard Stallman, father of the free software movement, to talk us to on "Why Software Needs To Be Free". Richard is well known all over the world for starting the movement against proprietary software of all kinds.

His talk focused on the importance of free software and how millions can benefit with this philosophy. Stallman also encouraged the audience to use free software as much as possible.
