ThoughtWorks Pune invited Owen Berkeley Hill to talk on “"Kaizen & Genchi Genbutsu". Owen spoke about why the Kaizen philosophy is important & relevant. He also spoke about how we can eiliminate waste in order to ensure quality.

• Owen is a big name in the European Lean movement & is a Six-Sigma black-belt trainer
• He has 40 years experience of working in the manufacturing sector, 35 of which was at Ford Motors
• Post retirement in 2005, he has worked as an independent consultant helping to grow the Kaizen culture
• He has coached at a change-management program for an NHS Trust in Kent
• He has a degree in engineering & a Masters (with Distinction) in Lean Operations
• He also is a resident lecturer at Universities of Salford and Sheffield
