Dhaval Doshi and Aman King from ThoughtWorks Pune office conducted a guest lecture at Maharashtra Institute of Technology, Pune. This was a follow-on to a previous session delivered by Siddharth Dawara and Aman King in September last year.

The session was mainly a series of facilitated "role-plays" among the students, which overtly seemed more like games but had OOP concepts hidden behind each of them. The role-plays were a huge success, with students enjoying running around the room, jumping on tables, cheering each other on, and such. The fun activities were rounded off with collaboratively jotting down the experience per role-play, followed by a group exercise of recognizing "OOP terminology" in the each of those learnings.

All in all, the session, with its unconventional delivery style, was appreciated by students and teachers alike. ThoughtWorks was invited to do more of such industry-meets-academia sessions. Aman's personal account of the session can be found here.
